41 candidates stepped up to serve.
Voters still have the final say.
Forty one Perth Amboy Republicans are running, but their names won't appear on the printed ballot. Voters can still choose them through Personal Choice.
This campaign is about making sure every ward and district still has a voice.
What happened
Personal Choice isn't new. County committee races have worked this way for decades.
What's different this year: forty one candidates filed, the largest write-in slate Perth Amboy has fielded. Reaching every ward means making sure voters know the option exists.
You can vote for these candidates by mail, during early voting, or on Election Day. The sections below show exactly how, ward by ward.
Why county committee matters
County committee is the neighborhood level of political representation.
These seats may not get much attention, but they help decide who is in the room when local concerns are raised, volunteers are organized, candidates are supported, and party priorities are discussed.
County committee members cannot promise that every concern will be solved. What they can promise is that your concern will not disappear.
If neighbors are worried about taxes, public safety, schools, city services, small businesses, election access, or how Perth Amboy is represented, county committee members can carry those concerns to municipal and county party leaders and help make sure Perth Amboy voters are heard.
Voting through Personal Choice is about restoring a local voice. It gives each ward and district someone whose job is to listen, organize, and speak up for the people closest to the issue.
